Muhammad Maad is a seasoned Technology & Security Leader, having managed large complex technology setups and delivering solutions that resulted in operational excellence. His experience spans over 30 years and covers the domains of Technology Management, Cyber Security, and Consulting.

Currently, he is the Chief Information Security Officer at Faysal Bank Limited, responsible for managing and maintaining the cyber security risk of the bank in line with the requirements of the Board.

​

Earlier as Executive Director at Ernst & Young, he helped his clients in areas of Technology and Cyber Security, advising them solutions for their strategic, regulatory, and operational requirements.

​

He headed the IT functions of HSBC Bank Pakistan and Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited as Head Information Technology and CIO respectively. Key achievements as a Technology Leader included transformation of IT function into forward-looking business enabler, core banking solutions deployments, and infrastructure setups etc.

He is also the Chairperson of the Cyber Security Forum of Pakistan Banks Association, as well as member of ISACA and Cyber Security Alliance Pakistan. He was on the Board of ISACA Karachi Chapter for many years holding various portfolios.
